Get your own API key — free and unlimited AI in HookMind

Generous free tier, no billing setup required. This is the easiest option to start with.

1. Go to aistudio.google.com/apikey and sign in with any Google account.
2. Click Create API key, then choose or create a Google Cloud project (any name is fine — you won't be billed on the free tier).
3. Copy the key that appears (it starts with AIza...).
4. In HookMind, open API Keys from the top bar, choose Google Gemini from the dropdown, paste the key, and click Save & Test Key.

Needs a small billing top-up, but each analysis costs a fraction of a cent. Also the only option for Audio Overview (text-to-speech).

1. Go to platform.openai.com/api-keys and sign in or create an account.
2. If prompted, add a small amount of billing credit under Settings → Billing (as little as $5 covers a very large number of reels).
3. Click Create new secret key, name it "HookMind", and copy the key (it starts with sk-...) — you won't be able to see it again.
4. In HookMind, open API Keys, choose OpenAI, paste the key, and click Save & Test Key.

Great for deep hook analysis and remix writing quality.

1. Go to console.anthropic.com/settings/keys and sign in or create an account.
2. Add billing credit under Settings → Billing if you haven't already (a small amount goes a long way).
3. Click Create Key, name it "HookMind", and copy the key (it starts with sk-ant-...).
4. In HookMind, open API Keys, choose Anthropic (Claude), paste the key, and click Save & Test Key.
